Practice Makes Perfect!

Taylor leaving the Fox! And practicing her kicks!!
Going in the Show!

Ok so this is the last thing I will blog today as I have to help Davie with dinner. But I wanted to share the pics from the Rockettes. Taylor, Emma, Robin, Mom and Me went to see the Rockettes perform at the Fox on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Growing up, it was Taylor tradition that we got together on the Wed. night before Thanksgiving. But unfortunately, times change and marriage brings a new element in to "traditions". It seems as though my tradition has changed at least for now.

So, I was so THRILLED when Mom,Dad and the Holleys decided to spend Thanksgiving in Atlanta. And needless to say I was not going to let there trip be all food and no play! Robin actually suggested the show and I quickly agreed. We were dressed and ready for the 4:00pm performance. It was SO beautiful. Taylor and Emma were glued to there seats!! I teared up at the end when they did a special nativity act. With live camels and sheep, the show was literally amazing.
Having danced in my younger years, there is one thing I know for sure. These girls work their butts off and it shows.....the show is perfect. Every heal pointed....every kick high and every smile bright!! The costumes, music, and choreography remarkable! A true Christmas Spectacular!

The More You Know The More You Kohls! And Little Bit is PULLING UP!

So-literally like last week Caroline pulled up on me when we were sitting in the living room....I grabbed the camera because as you can tell from the pics she was thrilled to be doing it!!!! Since then that is ALL she wants to do. Forget her toys! She gets up, looks down at her feet as if asking herself "what am I doing up here?" and then lets out a big sweet sigh!!!! She loves her little toys and books. But mainly she STILL wants the remote, cell phone, or computer. I bought that pretend cell phone but that lasted for like a day!
As far as where I am shopping these days. I need to mention Kohls. OK-so yes I have been a little snobby when it comes to going in that store. I have driven by it many times and then finally I kept hearing people say they have GREAT things you must go in there. The above outift I got in there. Too cute-I thought and a good price too! The other I got from the name dropper and well yall know that place is not cheap. Anyway-I must agree with the commercials...the more you know the more Kohls!

TRYING really hard to crawl

I took these about two to three weeks ago so she was about 6 1/2 to 7 months old. This was when I really began to notice her really TRYING to move. It took her several minutes but she would make it at least 5 feet to reach her toy by what I call army crawling or moving on her tummy. She is still doing that. The first above pic was the first time I noticed her go from the sitting to the crawling position. I came around the corner from making coffee early one morning and RAN to grab my camera once I saw her up and ready to go. Unfortunately-her little arms could not sustain her and she collapesed BUT the position she had mastered!

Jackson and Caroline play together!!!

Little Jackson Pontarelli came for a Thursday night visit about three weeks ago. Devin and Pat were headed to Philly for the marriage celebration of Pat's sister. Jackson is the cutest the thing ever!!!! We call him the butt scooter because he scoots...literally every where he goes. And the funny thing is it is SUPER fast. I lauged out loud when I saw how fast he moves....too cute!!!!!!!!!!!! Dev is a special friend to me and I love her little one and her hubby too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We cooked stuffed cajun chickens(delicious) from a meat market right up the road and I made a cornacopia salad....I will blog the recipe soon. Ingredients a little pricy but really tasty! Thanks for coming in to town Dev---and making the special trip to see me!!!!

Caroline at 6 and half months!!

Well-it has been a long time now that I look back and I know you all want a Cara update. So, the little angel is now 7 1/2 months old!!! And seriously changing daily. Ok- these pics of Cara are at about 6 1/2 months...right after Halloween. She had and Gay-Gay were just playing on the floor. I love them because they show her right before she takes her big girl bath too. Two items to note with these pics....she LOVES her homemade baby food. Dave has been very good about continuing to cook her little food and throwing it the food processor to puree it. She now eats sweet potatoes, sweet peas, green beans, squash, rice, oatmeal, avocado(which she doesn't like much), pears, and bananas. She was having a little tummy issue and we started her on miralax. She is not a fruit girl. She will drink her prune juice in the bottle with formula but does not like just plain fruit that much. I have to mix it with the oatmeal and rice to get her to take it.....she will however eat all her veggies no...rice needed!!!!! Lately-I having been giving her puffs--the little things that dissolve in her mouth. As you can see-she LOVES to eat!! Oh-and let's not forget her bath time!! She also LOVES the big girl bath time. I try to bathe her every night....it is part of her routine. She loves to play with her little toys and me while bathing...she kicks her little feet and squeals when she hears the water running!!

Wow-Life is BUSY!

OK-so I feel bad for not blogging in quite a while...I mean one or two posts since Halloween?! What am I doing?! Well for starters-There are several reasons for this...I am working a little harder, Dave's computer is down which means my computer is slower and it takes a lot longer to load pics, I have a 7 1/2 month old that is getting ready to be seriously on the move and a full time job...blogging falls down on the totum pole! However, I am excited to share the next few pics....and I will committ to blogging at least once a week! Caroline is changing SO much and doing so many new things it literally requires that in order for me to document the little munchkin!!!! And Dave is getting his computer fixed!!! So time will be much more manageable!
