Welcome to Parenthood!

Allison and Kent invited us over for dinner and a playdate last Saturday night. Little Reagan was so much fun. She is so full of energy...running and playing all over the house. Caroline enjoyed herself until we think lil Reagan might have pinched her. She BURST in to tears and was not easily consoled...primarily because she needed a nap. It was quite a funny experience for Allison and me being such good friends and being such new parents. These little playdate "episodes" are a first for the both of us and we know there will be MANY more. If any one else had been "accused" of pinching precious, I might have been upset, but who get upset with Allie and and that precious angel Reagan. And the next play date it will probably be Caroline biting!!! I told Allison it could be worse at least she didn't bite her!:) And we definitely know that from experience:)

Walking with a Purpose

So, I was running errands the other afternoon and noticed every middle schooler in town was at this little yogurt place called Yogli Mogli---After a twist of the arm, Dave and I took off on a wild pursuit to taste this rather POPULAR place. It really is an adorable little concept. I am not a HUGE fan of yogurt so I dont get the obsession (give me some Cold Stone Creamery) but anyway the concept is great. They have a million flavors and you can choose whatever you want and fix it yourself...like I said GREAT idea for those little people in your life known as kids!

ByeBye Bottles :(

Oh Mom, please don't make leave the play ground and ride in this car!

I'll just drink my milk in my sippy to comfort myself!!!!!!

It's official-precious angel from heaven had her last bottle two nights ago at 12.5 months. As most of you know, pediatricians recommend whole milk in a sippy at 12 months. The process was fairly easy for Caroline. Starting at about 11 months I started taking away a "feeding" here and there and instead offering the sippy. Her biggest adjustment was at 12 months when I took away her morning bottle. She did not want anything to drink and went a couple of days drinking VERY little. Then it literally seemed like overnight she started downing her sippy full of whole milk. I knew the time was right for our little evening ritual to change and so it has....no more bottle warming or formula. No more secured rocking sessions...and though, my little one is still little she is just a little closer to becoming a little girl!!! So SAD!! It seems like yesterday I was stressing about which ones to use and NOW she is not even taking one........why must they grow up SOOOOOOOO FAST?!!!!

Mary Kathryn is ONE!!!!!

Mary Kathryn turned ONE too!! She is two weeks younger than Caroline and we just love them! The party was adorable and Bree just worked her little self to death. She had a Beach theme. She made a beach cake and had the beach boys playing in the back with sunglasses as party favors. They had a blow up for the older kids and the weather was sooo nice!!!!

I'm Serious About the Cheerios, MOM!

Where did you put those extra cheerios in your hand?!
Did you put them behind the milk to trick me?

Oh you put them back in the box and tried to hide the box....

Seriously, you better give me that box!!!

I will not eat a thing until you show me the box....I can not believe you are hiding things from me now. What has our relationship come too?!?!?!?!

Costco Rules!

Why can't I eat cheese pizza everyday, Mom?!

Thanks Dad-that was a big bite but I got it down safely!

Have you seen the movie Old School with Will Ferrel?!?! In the movie, he takes a trip to Home Depot with his wife and I crack up because his Home Depot is our Costco. We LOVE Costco and frequent the place regularly. The quality, service, and price considering the quality is great. We buy frozen goods, meats, clothes, books, and paper goods mostly. We never leave without an all-natural beef hotdog, slice of pizza, and drink! Lunch for two for $5!

I am so Much FUN!

We got a baby pool and got in it last week. She liked it....I poured warm kitchen tap water in at first to get her used to it. This is a Fedex box she was obsessed with before I could open it!
I'm smiling because you said you would give me some Cheerios if I did!

Will you hurry up, please?!

One last time MOM-I said I want some Cheerios!!!

SO, lil bit is growing talking and changing DAILY! She is all over the place. Saying gogo-which means Move Mama-take me somewhere now!!! She also loves to say baby and bluebird. We passed two babies when out shopping on Saturday and she said Baby Baby!!!! TOO FUNNY!! I said that's right girl!!! She is also drinking well from her sippy and eating table now!!!! :((((((
Daddy is not in there slaving anymore!! Well-sort of but just not all at once like he once was. She loves boar's head ALL-NATURAL tukey. It has no fillers, vegetarian fed turkeys, no preservatives, no hormones or antibiotics. It is the REAL deal. She also likes her whole wheat bread. Today she loved avocado and she also likes hummus. I am trying to keep her interested in more than macoroni. It is so hard, though, to find a variety of healthy stuff that she will EAT!!! Tough but worth it when you know she is getting the best food available.

Taylor Malone is 5!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, precious Taylor turned 5 this year!!! Amazing to look back at her previous birthday parties and actually remember each party and the parties seem like they were just yesterday but yet they were 5 years ago!!!

This year was HANNAH Montana!!!! And boy was it a cute party!!! Robin made microphones and had balloons, cake, food, make-up and music. Even the boys came dressed up!!! It was real hoot!!!! I always enjoy seeing all of little Tay's friends and how they change from year to year!!!!
