Mom and CarolineThis past week I was able to take short-term medical leave with my company. I have enjoyed spending the days with Caroline so much. We have done nothing really but sit around and play outside. Mom, Robin and the girls came up at the beginning of the week since it was their spring break. We had a great time but after a day and half proved to much when your 39 weeks pregnant. These are the last pics before the new baby gets here of the girls! We are so EXCITED to be adding another precious girl to this crew. She will fit right in and is already loved so much!!!

Caroline's room and bathroom get updated too!
THANKS GaGa for all your hard work! My Father-In-Law is quite the handy man. Since being retired from Atlanta Gas Light, he plays a lot of golf and in his spare time has done numerous "projects" at my house. He built our fence, replaced our windows, and has now replaced our bathroom vanities. I should have taken better before pics because it is difficult to appreciate the differernce just looking at the after. But trust me, it really updated the bathrooms and we are so very appreciative for his hard work!!! THANKS AGAIN GAGA!
Call me crazy but while decorating my room and the nursery, I didn't want Caroline to be left out. So, I got her some linens too. She has been in her big girl for quite some time, but I wanted to go ahead and get pillows and a cover too. The nesting instinct I had this time was big but it has put me in good shape for lil sis! Precious Cargo in Vinings did the pillows. I took the silk bed skirt from the crib and made it in to a twin bed skirt and then got the matelesse from TJMax. I hope she enjoys it for many years to come!
Making it a Home
Most of you know, I have wanted to decorate my bedroom for quite some time now. Since it is removed from the rest of the house, I have focused on other rooms. In fact, up until about 3 months ago it looked like a college dorm room with a bed frame and sheets. When we moved in I got King mattresses and moved my linens to the guest rooms. Well, a baby and house and life in general just prevented me from investing the time to make our bedroom more of a sanctuary. I'm happy with the final product and so glad I went with gray. We painted the walls. It just feels so clean and fresh. I chose a gray and white damask fabric and accents of turquoise. We got the fabric from Bassett and Lewis and Sharron here in Atlanta. I am finally glad to be done with this project!
