Pictures Don't Always Say it All!

So I normally dislike pics of babies crying or in this case appearing to cry. But this pic is just too funny. The precious angel from heaven is beginning to get quite the lil personality. If you glanced at the above pic, I am sure you would think she was mad as fire or really upset...But that my friends is just not the case. This face is the worst attempt at a fake cry I have ever heard. She started it and stopped it in two seconds flat...I guess this was her way of communicating to me that she was done with pictures and dinner and was ready to get out of her high chair.....she was not in pain, hungry, or any thing remotely similar. She wanted OUT of the highchair fast! And that is exactly what she got!

Much better than my Green Beans!

So, I have never met someone/anyone that loves to cook more than my husband. He has been cooking up some delicious things lately. Little bit likes them too...I will be blog the recipes soon. They are pasta sauces...and oh so good! Caroline is enjoying the tomato/basil one in the above pics!

A New Sleeper!

Thanks Granna for this pink gown. Somehow, I let little grow out of her 9 month sleepers without many back-ups. When I went to purchase 12 month with feet...not many to be found. Granna to the rescue!!! Not sure where or how she found it, but Dave walked in and said hey this is from Mom. A nice 12 month sleeper!!

Life is to be explored and I plan on doing it!

Daddy I am sick of this....can we just go outside.......PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously-Mom-now please!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for bringing this blanket outside Daddy!!! You are so kind to always think of me...this brush tastes pretty good too!
This leaf is sooo cool...and the grass well it feels really quite strange and sort of hurts. I will just kneel down but don't let go Daddy!

I needed some help walking outside! And Daddy, as usual, was gladly there to give me a helping hand or two!

The RIVER

Well-today was just so beautiful we had to GET OUT and do what Dave and I used to do all the time...head to the River....the Hooch that is. We usually get a season pass and really enjoy walking by the water. There is no noise or traffic of course. This was Caroline's first trip. She LOVED it and squealed at each passing animal. Dave and I talk a lot about this city being a melting pot...southern yes but not very. We had just begun our walk when Dave looked at me and said...that is 5th foreign accent I have heard. And the next lady we passed...I said yeah Dave that makes 6. He laughed and said Candace she was from New York!
I do love it though! The traffic, the accents, the people, the everything. I am really beginning to call this place my home!!

Just Another Day at the Spa!

Dave and John surprised us with a family treat...Massages at the Four Seasons! Lunch and drinks by the pool, topped off with Aromatherapy Massages. Sooo Wonderful!! I wish I was filthy rich...I would get one EVERYDAY!

Ain't No Mountain High Enough!

Ain't No Valley Low, Ain't No River Wide Enough to keep Cara from getting to T-Town!
We have been known to use better judgement...this was last weekend...during the Winter Weather Advisory!!! 285- basically shut down...after we got through thankfully!

Wittle is Walking!

I Love Life Mommy!

Now 9 and half months Caroline is changing, growing, walking, talking and just being the most precious angel from heaven I know! She started taking steps about two weeks ago I guess. I noticed one here and two there. Today, if she wants an object out of reach...she might walk to get it. Now, crawling is a little safer and more comfortable! I love to look at her face and watch her decide whether she will walk or crawl. She has been such a joy the past several months. She is still eating baby food and LOVES her veggies. She loves her books and loves to wrinkle up her nose when we do ANYTHING...I will not even be trying to make her smile...and she will smile and laugh and wrinkle the nose!!! Too cute. She is babbling more and more...talking I should say as her Mother. If we say where is Dada...she looks toward Dave. If I say where is GayGay...she will look at GayGay. When I show her the dog book end...she point out his features. If I say where is his tongue...she points to his tongue.
She has had two ear infections which left her for awhile not sleeping very well, but remarkably she has been sawing logs lately!! WONDERFUL Sleep!!!

She loves to eat whatever I am eating. She loves to look at the squirrels, birds, and wildlife in our backyard. She loves her Granna and Janine!!! She kicks and squeals when they walk in. She loves to cuddle and loves to be scratched!!!! We love her SO much it hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the walking came massive home security! We have gates and plastic up around the balcony. And Dad is never far behind!!!!
