More on CGB!

So to update, she is really communicating more each day. She responds well to general commands....bring me this or that. No, give this to Daddy. She will "give the baby sippy", and "hug the baby", or "love the baby", she LOVES her bunny. We hold and love bunny every night before she goes to bed. She knows a lot of words....mama, dada, nini, nana, baby, balloon, gaga, gaygay, papa, mema (emma). And several others.

She can also make animal noises of snake, cat, pig, and occasionally a horse:). She LOVES her baby dolls, banans, milk, and straw sippy cup. She can also identify her ears, head, and belly button. She loves her mommy and daddy too! We can just tell!!! She squeals when she hears the garage open and says Daddy..Daddy or Mama, Mama depending on who is there and who is coming home from work.

JOY is the only word to describe what she brings to my DAILY life. We love her more than words can say...

Hide n Seek with Brooks
It was HOT!

Brooks and Caroline!
The most fun I've ever had MOM!~

Mike and Whitney invited us to a concert in the Park Friday night. What a great concept!!! Much fun was had by all. We set up a blanket and had pizza, and salad and watched the kids play while also listening to a live oldies band. Caroline had a BALL and cried every time we made take a break from the slide or the swing or whatever she was engaged in at the time.
Saturday morning after the concert she woke up and said gogo..I thought she meant just walk outside. Once we got outside she RAN to my car which was not in the garage..pointed up and said GOGO---GOGO---GOGO. 30 minutes later, Dave and I were back at the PARK!:)))))))

Breakfast at Wimbledon

It is probably a direct result of her Nana, but lil bit already likes to watch tennis and has this week with Wimbleon being televised. Nana plays tennis and is introducing the sport to her by rolling the tennis ball back and forth. Though I don't play now, it is something I would like to do in the future. I grew up watching Wimbledon in the era when Pete was king. Great sport that I hope one day lil bit will grow to appreciate! I took some of these on the playground yesterday!

Caudill turns 30

It was literally like 100degrees out there that night....the first of the heat wave! Mary and Lilli, and Me just trying to stay cool!

Though Ford is the newest member of the "group", he fits RIGHT in! Except for the whole Seminole thing....

Caudill and Tracy are newly engaged! An event of Oct 9th it will be!

My Davie with his dear friend Michael or Caudill or Mac as I like to call that precious thing!

I introduced Jenni from the Veranda, yes that's the V that I worked at in Auburn, to Mac when he was living in Dallas and she was working in Dallas with Neimans. That was like 4 years ago and they have been friends ever since!
Dave was enjoying his Cab so much he had to take it outside the restaurant! The delicious Menu!

Ryan and Mac learning from Dave and Jonathon!
Caudill questioning Dave and Jonathon!

Caudill turned 30 on June 12th and to help him celebrate about 20 of his buddies partied at JCT. It is such a cool restaurant complete with a wonderful dining experience and a GREAT upstairs bar that overlooks Midtown/Downtown. Tracy paid for our dinner and we headed upstairs to meet everyone else for drinks, live music, and cake. It was really just like old times with everyone:))))))Dave was in HEAVEN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Michael! Enjoy a few of the pics!

Play Time and Dinner!

Caroline and Reagan learning/trying to learn the importance of sharing!

Can't decide from the picture who the giver or taker is here....

Ryan uncomfortably holds pumpkin for a minute!:)))))

That's better....shoulders down....relax.....it's easy to hold a baby Zieby!

Gimme some cheerios Mac!

Baby is my FAVORITE thing to say...I love looking for and holding baby. Giving baby sippy is important too!!!

Mac's 30th birthday was Friday and we celebrated out on Friday and had them over for dinner on Saturday. Zieby can in town from Texas. It was like a mini AU reunion too. FUN MEMORIES and so much to look forward too--with the new addition of Caroline of course!

Aunt Wendy and the Kids!

Dave's Aunt Wendy and his first cousin Lori were in town to visit last week. Lori has three children Macy, Jarrett, and Davis. They are PRECIOUS and lil miss Caroline loved playing with them. After a day at the pool, and playing chase, and hide n seek, Lynn and Tom whipped up some delicious beef and TURKEY burgers. Seriously, delicious turkey burgers!! I will share the recipe soon.

St. Regis Please

I have blogged about this very fun place before but yet another fun night was had at this posh hotel. After a day of showering, shopping and dinner at Nava, we headed to the St. Regis for a few drinks. FUN TIMES!

Elizabeth's Shower

So, it had been quite a long time since all of my college sorority sisters reunited. And when I say all I mean all the ones I hung out with. But a couple of Saturday's ago, we were able to do just that while showering sweet Elizabeth with baby gifts for her first born Anna Kathryn. We LOVE Elizabeth and Jonathon. Fun sweet couple that I know will make great parents. Can't wait meet to Anna Ford!
As for the "sistas" and me, well we had a ball at the shower and dinner. Great hanging out and catching up after many of us living in different cities and even states. The more things change though the more they stay the same. I do know for sure I have changed over the past 8 years mainly maturing. I am definitely still myself....just approved I hope:)))))!
