Caroline at 6 and half months!!

Well-it has been a long time now that I look back and I know you all want a Cara update. So, the little angel is now 7 1/2 months old!!! And seriously changing daily. Ok- these pics of Cara are at about 6 1/2 months...right after Halloween. She had and Gay-Gay were just playing on the floor. I love them because they show her right before she takes her big girl bath too. Two items to note with these pics....she LOVES her homemade baby food. Dave has been very good about continuing to cook her little food and throwing it the food processor to puree it. She now eats sweet potatoes, sweet peas, green beans, squash, rice, oatmeal, avocado(which she doesn't like much), pears, and bananas. She was having a little tummy issue and we started her on miralax. She is not a fruit girl. She will drink her prune juice in the bottle with formula but does not like just plain fruit that much. I have to mix it with the oatmeal and rice to get her to take it.....she will however eat all her veggies no...rice needed!!!!! Lately-I having been giving her puffs--the little things that dissolve in her mouth. As you can see-she LOVES to eat!! Oh-and let's not forget her bath time!! She also LOVES the big girl bath time. I try to bathe her every night....it is part of her routine. She loves to play with her little toys and me while bathing...she kicks her little feet and squeals when she hears the water running!!

Wow-Life is BUSY!

OK-so I feel bad for not blogging in quite a while...I mean one or two posts since Halloween?! What am I doing?! Well for starters-There are several reasons for this...I am working a little harder, Dave's computer is down which means my computer is slower and it takes a lot longer to load pics, I have a 7 1/2 month old that is getting ready to be seriously on the move and a full time job...blogging falls down on the totum pole! However, I am excited to share the next few pics....and I will committ to blogging at least once a week! Caroline is changing SO much and doing so many new things it literally requires that in order for me to document the little munchkin!!!! And Dave is getting his computer fixed!!! So time will be much more manageable!

Well-little bit had quite a good time with her Great Grandfather aka Papa and her Aunt Wendy. As you can see from the pics, she loved being the center of attention. Except when Papa tried at the beginning to hold her. She was a little unhappy, but quickly warmed up. They stopped by Atlanta for a visit before heading to West Palm. It was really great seeing them both I just wish they lived closer!!!

It's Hard Being Little, People--

Little bit has what I would call her first real cold. And we hope it's just that. A runny nose and a low grade fever are the main symptoms but last night she was up most of the night. Sweet little thing has had some potty problems too. Though she is loving the sweet potatoes, sweet peas, pears, oatmeal, rice and butternut squash she has been chowing on, the food plus formulat I guess is making it harder and harder for her to use the bathroom. But, as you can see from the above pics, her precious little personality and spirit are still high!! She is smiling and playing all the time. Yesterday we played Where's Caroline and the sweet little thing would pick up her head and look at me when I said Where's Caroline!! She loves peakaboo, but is getting bored with "old" toys. She wants whatever I have....the remote or telephone mainly...two of the dirtest things in our home. I told Mom I was going to buy her a remote just to have. I did buy her a cell phone...pretend that is. But already she loves it!!! Just like her Mama--talking is just what we were meant to do!

As for the lives of the Bensons, not much except lovin this little sack of love!! Last week I took her to Clix Photography in Marietta and for a 10 buck sitting fee had the cutest little pics taken!! I am about to start working on Christmas cards. The above jacket I got for 10 bucks at Babies R Us!! Too cute for 10 bucks!! Love a good deal! What else has been going on??? Nothing that I can think of at the moment....Will write again when something strikes!

Getting Ready For My First Halloween!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Well it was little bit's first Halloween and she went as an Angel mainly because that is what she is to her Daddy and me. Thanks to Gay-Gay for making the precious costume!!! We had a night filled with short house visits...no candy for little bit but none-the-less it was a great reason to take some precious pics!!! We visited The Williams, Grandaddy Benson, and The Nagodes. Caudill and Tracy came over later to see her dressed up. Unfortunately though, the weather was pretty crappy in Atlanta so we didn't have a ton of trick or treaters. All in all a very fun night!!!

She did not like getting dressed....ironic she was dressing as an angel and alarming the neighborhood while she did it~~~

Caroline is looking for Grandma Lynn. She took PaPa Spencer to West Palm and missed her VIP trick or treater!!! We missed her too!!

Today was FUN!

Mama You're Funny!

Sitting Pretty, Eating, and Getting a Tooth-6 Months ROCKS!

Well-little bit is growing up too fast. It has already been six months. So weird to even think of what my life was like before her. She has brought so much JOY to us I can't even describe it. She got a TOOTH last week!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Precious thing still chewing on EVERYTHING but we also welcomed another one on the bottom over the weekend. She never ran a fever or had a runny nose. She just cried a little more and woke up more during the actual night it broke through. And we also started rice and oatmeal with her. We mixed a few pears and apples in there too. She tastes and then spits most of it out. But none the less-she is now "eating" some real if that's what we're gonna call it food. Here are a few of my favorite pics!

Mary Reagan and Caroline Meet!!!!!

Such a fun weekend had by all in Knoxville TN. Meredith, a dear friend and college roomate invited us to spend the weekend with them in Knoxville for the UT/ Auburn game! What a great time had by all. We tailgated and the weather and campus were beautiful.....and most importantly we got to meet that PRECIOUS Mary Reagan!!!! So adorable and yummy. She is two months younger than Caroline. They will be friends for sure!!! She sure is blessed to have such wonderful parents in Kent and Meredith!!! Thanks again for a fun time~!! And be sure and tell Corrine and Belinda thanks again for taking such good care of the babies.....

Sitting Pretty and Saying Goodbye to that Precious Boppy Chair!

Caroline is 5 months and about two weeks and she has been sitting up well now for about a week. It is the cutest I have EVER seen and we are just lovin every minute of it. Unfortunately this means that her favorite chair is about to be retired for sitting like "big" girl!!!! Awe, I will never forget our precious days in that sweet little boppy chair!!!!!!

We are thrilled she is sitting up,though, and she is too!!!!!!
