Caroline just playing on the Loveliest Village on the Plains!!! We went over Saturday for a lemonade at Toomers Corner and for Caroline to run around on campus. We got there shortly before game time so the traffic was very minimal. She loved it and I loved taking pics of her. Next time, we will stay longer and hopefully make it inside the game:)

Real Life

It's no surprise I haven't blogged in a while. In fact, it's been almost two months. Well, sometimes, life just gets in the way of pics and writing. Shortly after my last blog, I found out I was pregnant!!!!! We are thrilled but with that comes extreme fatigue and nausea. I am now in week 12 and baby number 2 is hopefully growing like a little weed! We are truly thrilled and can't wait for her/him to arrive.

Caroline also started preschool. That was a big adjustment. Working and having a new schedule for lil bit was well work. I worried about her constantly and then with being preggo, I have just been too tired to do anything really. The good news....I feel better and she is liking preschool a little better too.

The real curve ball was Nana's unexpected Subdural Hematoma. That's right! She underwent brain surgery I guess about a month ago. She fell while playing tennis and began to have headaches. They would awaken her in the middle of the night and after seeing three different docs, within about two weeks she received a CAT scan that revealed the hematoma. It was one of the scariest times in my life. She spent a week in ICU and had it drained twice....

Thankfully she is now at home and doing really well! Keeping the baby again with GaGa's help and will hopefully be completely better in the next month or two.

Like I said, sometimes, life gets in the way of living! And well. pics take a back seat to real life, real emotions and living in every moment. Thanks to all those that prayed for our family over the last month. We GREATLY appreciate it and know the The Lord was looking out for her! Keep praying for us though. The new baby needs prayers too! Thanks again sweet friends!

Let's go Mom! Does she like it now? The verdict is still out...she does once she gets there. But getting there usually results in a trip to Chick-fil-A or some other form of diversion! We love the school and her sweet teachers though! And they love her too!!! Should be a good year.

An AU Weekend

Meredith, Allison, Mary, Me, Christine, Elizabeth, and Lilli together again! Mary is having a baby and Meredith and Christine came in town to celebrate!!! After the shower, we had dinner at my house with the kids!! SO MUCH FUN! So good to see everyone and their babies!! I love them!!

My Precious FRIENDS for 10 years!!! BID Day in Auburn was today and it's amazing how that day really changed my life. Hate to be dorky, but I met so many people that day that would change my life! I lived with Meredith for 2 years! And Lilli introduced me to Dave...and the rest is history! Love Love Love the memories!!

Brochette Salad...absolutely delicious!

Last weekend, PaPa Davis was in town and Lynn had us over to celebrate. She cooked a delicious feast complete with steak, a brochette style salad, a corn dish, and an onion pie. It was delicious and the company was too! So glad we got to spend a summer night enjoying dinner. Of course Caroline was in heaven with all the toys and attention at Nana's house!
