5 months Old!!!

Wow-5 months ago a precious angel from heaven came in to this world and we have been in love ever since. She has come along way from not being able to hold up that precious little head and sleeping ALL the time.

She is now rolling from her back to her tummy and I think she will be sitting up soon. She is reaching for everything and is just such a JOY!!! We love her and she already has such a happy little personality. She is sleeping through the night most nights...She loves her rattles and gets ticked off when they won't fit in her mouth just perfectly. She is just too funny!!!!

The last several weeks

WEll- the last several weeks and weekends have been VERY busy for the Bensons. Dave has been traveling back and forth to T-town harvesting his corn. Mom has visited, Tori and Bryan visited and then I went to Orlando for a meeting and left lil precious angel for the first time last week....not fun!!!! The meeting itself was actually enjoyable, but getting up to the meeting and the actual separation from Caroline was really stressful. Oh, not to mention I missed the hundred year flood. I was in sunny Orlando...without my camera. The following pics are just some from the last several weeks. Mary and Nathan's wedding. And Caroline in her jumpy. She loves her jumpy!!!!!!! And she is still biting everything in site including those precious toes. The flower in the above pic is her FAVORITE!!! She tries and tries to grab only to get VERY frustrated that it won't come off....too funny.

Just Enjoying the Precious Angel from Heaven!!!

Lil is continuting to warm our hearts with that precious angel smile..... she is also enjoying her Bumbo chair now. She is grabbing and reaching for EVERYTHING. And she is still a bald as she can be....a little fuzz on top and a little in the back is all she has. This weekend we went to T-town for Dave to harvest his corn. And I looked at my baby pictures. She definitely favors me....but she also has something about her that looks like Dave and my sister. As for the pretty red and white bubbble she is wearing in the above pic, made that for her. Thanks Mom!!!

Did she say what I think she said?

Lil is babbling mostly breathy vowels sounds like oohh and awee and squealing I guess what they call cooing and she has been for awile now. But a couple times lately I have heard mmmmm and yesterday guess what she said....MAMA. I had to document it because I literally freaked out. She was looking at GayGay( my Mom) when she said it but....hey it's a start right?

Having a Good Time!

Sweet thing had her 4 month check up today and was such a big girl...taking her shot with minimal crying!!! Other than that, the week has been great. The above pics are from Dave's parents bringing dinner for his 30th birthday and of lil just playing around...

So, this week I bought a "jogging" stroller. Funny thing, I am really not the jogger. So why the stroller, well-we needed something to take Caroline on walks in the neighborhood and to the river in. I do love it and though and honestly having it makes me want to jog!! She loves it and it is great way to get out and exercise....
