Bye Bye Blazy!!!

Yes, I am blogging about saying goodbye to the Trail Blazer! Dave got this car brand new in 06 and has driven for 6 years. 6 VERY important years. We got married AND brought Caroline home from the hospital in it. With like 150,000 miles on it, we decided to trade it. That car has heard fights, tears, joys, and the excitement of our life for the past 6 years. Farewell Blazy! Hope your new owner is good to you!!!!!!

Ready for Spring!

The past few weeks have been just beautiful. Our grass is greening and the sun has been warm and bright. With each warm day, we spend a little more time outside. Though these pics suggest it was cold because of her jacket, she shed it pretty quickly once we started playing.
I also let her help make brownies! We ate the whole pan and loved every second of the warm treats. She is quite the helper.

Emma Kate getting ready! THANKs sis for all you did! Precious Taylor wouldn't get in any pics!!
This past weekend, I had a small shower in Tallassee. Being my 2nd baby and being a girl, I just invited a few friends and mostly those that had offered to help or host something for me. It was so NICE. My sister really went all out and made it super special. The food was great and the crowd was just my favorite group of people.
I got essentials and a a few precious little outfits for the new little Benson princess. Caroline got several gifts too. I said, "Is this her shower or mine". I ate tons and laughed a lot too. THANK you to everyone that helped make the day special with food or just your presence. It is a shame I don't get to see these special people more often. Weddings, deaths, and births are about the only time we get to see each other. Cell phones are a beautiful thing though! But none-the-less it was super fun and enjoyable! Thanks again!!!

A couple of weeks ago, we met Bea and some of Caroline's new little friends at the Children's Museum. The girls played so sweetly together. It is adorable. We actually went for the first time when Mary Reagan was down but I forgot my camera so this time I made sure to take it in order to capture the cuteness!

Lots of LOVE for BABY SISTER

A couple of weekends ago, my sweet college friends and I had brunch at Canoe in celebration of little Baby Benson #2! Canoe is a favorite of mine and they particularly do a nice Sunday brunch. We had pastries for appetizers. The girls had bloody marys and champagne and I had delicious water before enjoying eggs, bacon, and french toast prepared just the way Canoe does it....deliciously. I got some adorable little sleepers, a precious bubble, a swaddle blanket, diapers, and a gift card. Already having a girl, I don't need much of anything, but appreciate the love and thought of a little something to celebrate the coming of this precious child. Thanks again so much sweet friends for making my day special. Can't wait to introduce you to her!!!!
Kissy Kissy never gets old!!!!!!

FULLY CHARGED

Last weekend we went to the Greatest Show on Earth! At least for Daddy and Caroline. She loved it and he did too. The show was called Fully Charged and it was a literal 3 ring Circus complete with tigers and dancers and trapese artists.

The above pic best shows what we've also been battling this week. Her first case of pink eye. It started in her left eye. It's the right one in the pic. She was an ANGEL at the dr.'s office though. Getting the drops in has been hard though. She hates anything close to her eyes and rightly so...Fun Day though. Enjoy the circus!

The Tigers were pretty COOLThis is before the show...the Big Guy was excited about the Big Show!

Precious just waiting for it to start! She got this AWESOME Wand!!
