Just Enjoying the Precious Angel from Heaven!!!

Lil is continuting to warm our hearts with that precious angel smile..... she is also enjoying her Bumbo chair now. She is grabbing and reaching for EVERYTHING. And she is still a bald as she can be....a little fuzz on top and a little in the back is all she has. This weekend we went to T-town for Dave to harvest his corn. And I looked at my baby pictures. She definitely favors me....but she also has something about her that looks like Dave and my sister. As for the pretty red and white bubbble she is wearing in the above pic, made that for her. Thanks Mom!!!

Did she say what I think she said?

Lil is babbling mostly breathy vowels sounds like oohh and awee and squealing I guess what they call cooing and she has been for awile now. But a couple times lately I have heard mmmmm and yesterday guess what she said....MAMA. I had to document it because I literally freaked out. She was looking at GayGay( my Mom) when she said it but....hey it's a start right?

Having a Good Time!

Sweet thing had her 4 month check up today and was such a big girl...taking her shot with minimal crying!!! Other than that, the week has been great. The above pics are from Dave's parents bringing dinner for his 30th birthday and of lil just playing around...

You Ain't Even a Runner Sista!

So, this week I bought a "jogging" stroller. Funny thing, I am really not the jogger. So why the stroller, well-we needed something to take Caroline on walks in the neighborhood and to the river in. I do love it and though and honestly having it makes me want to jog!! She loves it and it is great way to get out and exercise....

New Church Hunt

Sorry I havent blogged in a while Dave's computer was messed up...I know my loyal readers were wondering if Caroline would ever enjoy tummy time:)! Life has been good here the last several weeks. Caroline is loving our neighbor who sits with her on Mondays and Fridays. And she is really thriving.

I visited Johnson Ferry Baptist last Sunday and really liked it. We've attended the Buckhead church since being in Atlanta and loved it but it is just not welcoming enough for little kids. And JFB is right down the road from our house. I don't know anyone that goes there, though. Happy to say after visiting 1/3 of the class I attended were AU graduates. Smart, Christian people....can't beat that!!! It is HUGE though, so I must continue to make a concerted effort to get to know people and get involved. I was my old self Sunday, though. I walked right up to this brunette girl with three little ones and introduced myself. She said oh....come with me and from then on we were buds. Her name was Ashley and she went Ole Miss...sweet, nice girl. Funny thing is if Dave had been there I would have been timid and shy. But he stayed with the baby and the "T-Bone" in me came out. I must say I am proud of myself for making "new" friends at church.

Caroline's Been Swingin!

So, these pictures say it all!!! She loves her swing. Lynn got it for $25 bucks at a consignment sale.....great buy!!! And in case you dont know Lynn loves birds. She is like Snow White. They literally "flock" to her. And you might know, the swing has a bluebird on it! These are from a couple weeks ago!!

Caroline LOVES the Mirror

Caroline like many babies loves the mirror. She just looks and laughs..(especially when Dave is holding her). She really cracks up when he sings to her in the mirror. Playing "dress up" in front of that same mirror she will do in a few years, but for now, we just love it that she likes to look at us and herself!!!! So precious!

Oh and I can't forget, lil is rollin and likin tummy time more and more.

Reagan and Caroline Play Again!

Reagan and Caroline had a playdate this past weekend! So fun!!!! Caroline just smiled and starred at Reagan when she came in the door. We love Waygan...as we call her! Caroline loves Caudill too!!!!! Different night but playdate with Mikey too!!!!

Tired of Tummy Time

Little Miss Caroline is not rolling over from her tummy to her back yet....she is holding her head up well and kicks and grunts and smiles and laughs and pushes up but not yet a roller. Thought this was too cute of her resting from her "push up"!!! Man, it takes a lot of energy to grow Mom!

Caroline Goes for Fried Shrimp

As most of yall know going out to dinner with a 3 and half month old is difficult. Though we do it, it is tough. Last Friday, Grandma Lynn and Grandaddy Tom had us over for fried shrimp and all the fixins....yumyum! They were so delicious!!!!! The night was fun until lil chocked on some "new" formula--not so fun then. She is fine and we are fine but scary it was. Unfortunatley after that experience, I wanted to throw up my delicious shrimp.

Sweet Dreams Little One

So, I mostly post pictures and rarely do any story telling, but I must break my rule tonight. The sweetest thing I ever did see happened about two seconds ago. I was downstairs posting the previous blogs and I went upstairs to help Dave put Caroline down. She was out and I mean out cold. Anyway-we go to lay her down and wrap her in her sleep sack which is basically like a straight jacket for babies when she wakes up only to smile the BIGGEST smile at us for like 5 seconds and then smile continuously as she went back to sleep. I mean OMG...we just laughed and Dave said OK go to bed but I was too moved by that little precious one to sleep. I wanted to come share it with someone! So glad she is a Happy Baby~!

I wish she would be this happy forever!!!!!.....I now feel bad for ever feeling bad or sad in front of my Mom. I now see the joy Caroline's happiness brings me and I can't imagine the day when she is disappointed, or her feelings are hurt, or she is just sad. I am enjoying every moment of these sweet precious days. Soon enough life will become life full of ups and downs. But for now....smile away little one!!!!!! Smile Smile Smile!!!!!!!

Caroline at 3 months and 1 week !!!

Hard to believe the lil one has been her that long!!!! I love her more than ever and so does her Daddy. These are a few pics from this past week....just hangin in her Bouncy (aka Boppy)! She is going to outgrow this pretty soon....I will shed a tear when she does...we have had some good times with Caroline in her Boppy! Notice Bird there...she is grabbing for Bird now and bringing EVERYTHING to her mouth. She is squealing all the time. We were dancin and swayin to MJ yesterday and she laughed out loud...pretty funny!

The Best Part of My Day!

What is it about bath time that is so much fun for babies and parents?! I swear I can not get enough of lil and bath time. It doesnt matter how tired I am or if she really doesnt even need a bath, we always have FUN getting a bath!!!! She SMILES right up until I flash the camera...my camera is a great camera but it sends off this red light right before it flashes so she stops smiling to focus on the camera...very annoying..oh well-just know that she LOVES it and so does her Mama and Daddy!!!
