Happy Birthday NATE!!!! My sweet friend Tara's youngest son turned a year this past week and we went over to Birmingham to help him celebrate. If you scroll through the blog, you will see his new born pics and it is just so crazy to me how time flies. Tara did a great job with the party and Caroline had a BALL. It was awesome because we got to see more friends too. Noah, Nic, Banks and Peg were all in attendance. Plus Tara's sweet family! It was time well spent!! So glad we made the trip!

I wish I could stop time.....

I saw this precious video when looking through old stuff and I had to put it on the blog! This was Easter Sunday last year and she wasn't even 2 yet. Still so much of a baby! I look at her now and just can't believe how much she has grown and changed in the last year. I just LOVE her so much and have enjoyed watching her grow! Can't believe we'll have another one soon. CAN'T WAIT!

Our sweet neighbors Liz and Wes came over with Jake and Rachel on Friday night for dinner and play. Virginia Grace, Jackson, and new baby Hudson made Caroline's night so fun. Dave cooked a summer dinner of grilled hamburgers, sausage, and hot wings. For desert, bananas fosters!

Christmas Dinner Davie Style!

Pecan Tarts for desert....like mini pecan pies. They are so delicious and one of Mega's ( Dave's Grandmother's) recipes

Dave roasted a prime cut of beef for Christmas Dinner for about 5 hours at 200 degrees in the oven. It was delicious. He made a homemade AuJus and a horseradish sauce for dipping and served it with mashed potatoes and a beautiful strawberry, pecan, and bleu cheese salad. Topped with a homemade poppy dressing.

FaceTime is a Beautiful thing!!!!!!!!!!!! Papa, GaGa and Nana were able to call us all the way from West Palm. And we able to see her little face!

She got an American Girl Doll-Julie and matching Bitty Baby PJ's that we quickly had to wear!!

And of course, Santa did a remarkable stocking full of goodies including her favorites stickers and band-aids....because her babies have booboos all the time!!!

Christmas morning was so magical at our house this year. We really enjoyed it and for the first time in years were able to experience it through the eyes of a child. Magical and memorable it indeed!!

Thank you God for sending your son...that was the BEST gift ever!!! Joy Joy Joy!
