Cara Grace is just happy to be here at 12 weeks!

Since I haven't blogged in over two weeks I have several pics to post. Mainly showing how much lil has grown....everyday she amazes us!! She is smiling ALLLL the time. Sometimes she can't eat for smiling. If she is nursing and I say Heeeyyy she stops and smiles...It is so precious! She is cooing and squealing too and loves her little toys. The Bird is her ablsolute favorite. She follows it all over the room and looks in the direction of the sound....we love to play with her. Bathing her is one of my most favorite times of the day. I love to rub her down with baby lotion and just study every little roll. As you can see, the little one is growing growing growing. I can't wait for her checkup in a couple of weeks. The above pics are from the night before the 4th. Good times and great fun with the Holleys and the Bensons!!!! Dave cooked like an incredible meal of grilled halibut, roasted potatoes, cream corn, and my favorite cornicopia salad. And yes the lil princess is wearing a Texas onesie. Thanks to the Ziehes!!! We love y'all!! Go Longhorns....only when you arent playing an SEC school!!!

Tori's Bachelorette Party

This past weekend Dave and I took Caroline to Ross Bridge Resort in Birmingham! This was special because it was Cara's first hotel trip and Toris' Bachelorette Party. The Party was in the hotel. We had dinner downstairs and her party in one of the rooms at the hotel. Meanwhile Dave and Caroline were able to spend some qualtiy time togehter too!! It was a great weekend had by all!!!!

Happy Fathers Day!!

Caroline and Dave have a special bond. I guess all Fathers and Daughters do. I know Dad and I do too. It is so sweet to see Dave with Caroline. He is so gentle and sweet and loving towards her. He corrects me when he thinks I am not doing something right and he is SO protective of her. I pity the guy who asks her on her first date. She LOVES his voice and is drawn to him when he comes home from work. These are just a couple of shots of the two of them yesterday. We left Tallassee in a hurry yesterday and I didnt get any with my sweet Dad. But to all the Dads out there who love and sacrifice for their children. Thanks!!! We appreciate it! And one day, I know Caroline will too!!!
